Sculptural knitting is the art of making 3 dimensional objects. We will use a simple knitting pattern to begin the creation of a horned toad.
Participants will learn to read sculptural knitting patterns. We will use stockinette stitch, short rows, I-cord, intarsia technique as well as increases and decreases. Embroidery, simple crochet and needle felting will also be addressed.
COST: $45 plus a $5 materials fee to be paid to the instructor.
Instructor will provide: Horned toad pattern, white, dark brown and medium brown scrap yarn or loose fiber for felting. Felting needles and foam will be available for use.
