by Crys Mascarenas Length of Workshop - Half Day (3 hours) 3-6pm on Friday Workshop Fee - $45 Workshop Synopsis and Tasks to be Covered: - Learn the materials and techniques required to fuse fibers into unique and beautiful paper. We will use silk and bamboo and maybe some other fibers. Fiber fusion makes beautiful paper that can then be used for other artistic applications including, applique, journal/book/album covers, gift tags, photography matt, masks, cards, boxes, frames, business card cases, jewelery- pins/earrings/pendants, vessels, envelopes, lamp shades, etc! Minimum Participants - 2 Maximum Participants - 6 Materials Fee (if any) - $15 Materials Fee Covers: - Fusion fluid, fibers, screens Students will need to bring an old iron if available. Instructor Bio: - Crys Mascarenas has been working with fibers in some way or another for most of her life. She loves teaching and sharing every new technique that she learns. |
