Hand Painted Roving/Batt/Fiber Contest Contestants enter at least 1 ounce of hand dyed
roving, batt, sliver or top of their making. The winner is a people's
choice vote; winner takes home ALL the fiber!!! Roving/Fiber must be
delivered to the Information Booth (with the Raffle wheel) by 10am on
Saturday. (Late entries are allowed, but polling begins at 10am and late entries will be at a disadvantage) Polls will close at 4pm and the winner will be announced at 4:30pm, after the concert ends. Entry Fee: The first entry is free and there will be a $2.00 fee for each additional entry. Artists can submit as many different roving/batt/fibers as they like! Contestants may begin submitting their fibers on Friday during the workshops.Or they mail them to: SLVFest PO Box 502 Monte Vista, CO 81144 Although the SLVFest staff will work their hardest to monitor this competition, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen roving. |
